Our strategy is focused on long-term, sustainable impact and our ambition is for everyone to have the best possible healthcare.
Like many organisations, our work and the launch of our new strategy was disrupted in 2019/2020 by Covid-19. At the start of March 2020 we chose to stop the direct delivery of our services due to the risk of spreading the virus to vulnerable groups as we move from urban to rural areas. However, we remain true to the direction of the charity.

Improving Access And Quality Of Healthcare In Rural Zambia
We are inclusive
Aim to make our services accessible for all and put measures in place to promote access to health services for those who are often excluded. We embrace inclusive decision making to ensure that our work is tailored to the individual needs and desires of the communities that we work with.
We are collaborative
Work in partnership with MoH, communities, RHCs and delivery partners to maximise impact, share learning, and ensure that high quality holistic programmes are developed to meet the needs of each community.
We are honest
Openly share our resources and our learning regardless of outcomes to ensure that others can learn from what has and hasn’t worked. We are also honest with our partners, ensuring that we provide challenge to government, NGOs, and MoH when we see improvements that can be made.
We are ambitious
Work hard to continuously improve the quality of our work, and to improve health outcomes for rural communities. Our work continues to evolve as we strive for excellence in everything that we do.
