What’s your role?
My roles include contributing to efforts of fundraising and project management; partnerships; and other tasks including: Participate in WASH review meetings; respond to requests for information from stakeholders as required; undertake other professional tasks as requested by program manager.
What made you decide to work for On Call Africa?
I joined because it is an opportunity for me to contribute to the realization of the project objectives and to advance my professional and career goals.
What were you doing before you joined On Call Africa?
I was working with another Organisation implementing another WASH project
Why should someone give up their time to volunteer for On Call Africa?
Because it is a great way to give back to the community and to save a life
What’s your biggest challenge for the year ahead?
To make sure that I satisfy myself with the work that I will do and my contribution to making the world a better place
Tell me something about you that no one else knows…
I have always been looking forward to eating crocodile meat but I keep missing the opportunity
Have you got any tips on Zambia for future volunteers?
Be open minded as you come to Zambia because the number of opportunities in Zambia will overwhelm you
What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Playing loud music (basically am a noise maker!) and watching soccer
