What made you decide to work for On Call Africa?

I have always had the passion to contribute to the attainment of health equity, the work On Call Africa is doing working to strengthen rural health systems strongly aligns with my passion.

What were you doing before you joined On Call Africa?

I worked on a climate, community and biodiversity project with Biocarbon Partners

Why should someone give up their time to volunteer for On Call Africa?

The work OCA has done so far has had and continues to have a great impact on improving health care facilities and ultimately improving people’s livelihoods. Being part of a team that works so hard to ensure people have adequate access to health care is very rewarding.

What is your biggest challenge for the year ahead?

To continue to innovate and find better ways that contribute to the attainment of health equity. I will continue to collaborate and build partnerships that contribute to these efforts. I am also looking forward to contributing my knowledge and skills that contribute to the bigger picture.

I am afraid of heights

Have you got any tips on Zambia for future volunteers?

It is a lovely country and beautiful country with friendly people, the food the culture and beautiful serene is definitely something to look forward to.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I love listening to music, swimming and spending time with friends and family
